Origin
Through serendipity, our founder, Mr. Wang Tsan-Chung, tried Okinawa’s staple – Citrus depressa juice. He found the taste of the juice delightful, it motivated him to research Citrus depressa. He discovered that Citrus depressa is a species native to Taiwan. Research indicates that the fruit contains phytochemicals, which boosts immunity. For this reason, he got involved in the planting industry of Citrus depressa and was determined to promote the fruit.
Cultivation
Mr.Wang began scouring Southeast Taiwan for fruit growers that cultivate Citrus depressa. He collaborated with several fruit growers, but problems arose. We consulted fruit growers and experts in the field. We then had fruit growers adapt to organic farming practice. In an attempt to lower the risks, our Citrus depressa are cultivated in Hualien, Nantou, and Kaohsiung. In return, this has provided us with a steady harvest.
Strict quality control
Proper equipment is required to preserve the original authentic flavors and nutrients of Citrus depressa’s juice. He has vertically integrated the company to manufacture 100% Citrus depressa juice. Taiwan Sweet Farm is also certified by Halal, and other quality certifications. So far, we have obtained SNQ (Symbol of National Quality) and the Monde Selection Gold Quality Award.
